Shakti and Shiva. Divine Union. The aliveness that animates everything, the dynamic intelligence that radiates from every moment. Self-organizing. Self-liberating. The erotic pulse that fires through the heart and into the world at large, touching every being with its alchemical power.
This painting was created with the Luminous Awareness Institute in autumn of 2020 - in the (virtual) company of 100 participants and teachers (and a small handful of in-person comrades). The artwork centers around the theme of “Fire”, as viewed through the lens of LAI. It was completed in the following week in my Colorado studio.
