(His second favorite is “Buhbuhbuhbuh”, which could be an early linguistic root of “Bubba” or “Papa”, which would be, like, well, you know, super cool).

One of our favorite dishes, la Ensalada de Koen. Excellent accompanied with grilled rosemary salmon, potatoes au gratin, and a glass of Australian shiraz. And Koen thinks it’s pretty groovy, as well.

This series of photos documents his first large-scale crawl, in which he covered six feet of territory in a span of three minutes! Beginning with a warm-up set of push-ups, he was soon lured forward by the flashes and clicks of the camera. When he grew exceedingly irritated by the difficulty of his journey, a bag of baby organic carrots was placed an arms-length in front of him, to both appease his hunger for acquisition and to spurn him on to greater distances. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, cover your wall sockets and hide your electrical cords - Koen is now a multi-dimensional floor-crawling cutie pie.
