Blossoms are thick in my neighborhood, their aroma rich and sweet, and the red-winged blackbirds are nesting in the marshy stretch a few hundred yards from my urban studio. While these feisty birds look over their clutches, my own kids are growing, and their laughter brings me such joy. Spring is here, and my world is singing with it’s call.
Upon completing this painting, it was once again Walt Whitman who whispered a title in my ear…
