“The Beginning”

The bulk of this piece was created with my friend Jason in the studio; he had just interviewed me, and was now filming me at work. This painting became a gift for Jason, whose decision to move to L.A. and follow his heart’s passion in the film world is, for me, an incredibly inspiring story. The ‘enso’ serves in part as a symbol of the gateway that Jason is walking through, a journey into the unknown, into the center of the universe, into the center point of his very own heart.
