Given the fact that I’m wildly busy painting 1000 Views of God, and working on a large commission of one family’s ecotopic visionary future, and learning how to play nice with social media (down, facebook! down!), and loving my family (not limited to diaper changes, packing school lunches, re-learning checkers, and – hey – what happened to date night?!), and surrendering my heart to a wild increase in (apparent) mistake-making, and trying to be kind to my body (sleep = sanity), given all this…I figured I ought to toss another project into the mix:
The Best of 2009 Blog Challenge.
I didn’t sign up for the challenge of posting every day for thirty-one days (remember the 1000 paintings, and the diapers?). And I wasn’t looking for something to inspire me. I signed up because of Gwen. And her ever-deepening journey into what I’d call the “authentic self”. And when Gwen speaks, I’m learning to listen, because chances are, she’s offering something Good. For the heart. For all our hearts.
First post, on it’s way.

Bryce! Ugh! You always make me teary.
I love that we found each other this year.
Me too, Gwen.
…*gratitude*…
Oh, and forgot to mention – each main course post will be accompanied by a side of sketch.
