Best Trip of 2009 was letting go of my stable position as Graphic Artist and heading down the path of my “Bigger Life”. The journey officially began the moment I stepped out of my office for the last time, into a future committed to living the deepest life I know how, embracing the parts of myself that just couldn’t be put aside any longer.
The people I’ve met (fabulous!), the challenges (harrowing!), the rewards (sweet!), make this venture far more deeply fulfilling than I had imagined possible. It’s a trip for which I’ve booked no return flight, mapped no return route.

Wow — Congratulations!! That’s the kind of trip everyone wants to take, but so few find the courage.
I love that you answered this question with revelations about your inner journey. You have more courage than you give yourself credit for!
TheWordWire: Yes, it’s taken some guts. Spilled some, too. But ever so worth it!
emma: I’m still feeling the reverberations from your post yesterday. So moving.
And…regarding the inner journey and courage (and fear) – I have a hunch that my Day Three post will be addressing this (and that twisty-tie comment I left on your blog) more directly.
Hey, me too! How’s your going? The best trip of all…
Sounds like a pretty fantastic trip to me.
Katherine: Trip is rough and tumbly at times, but SO REWARDING!
Kristan: Yes, very much so. Straight into the wilderness of the unknown! (love your Chicago and Trinity College photos)
