That gem of a blog you can’t believe you didn’t know about until this year.
The first hugely impactful blog is Big Love in a Small World. Sane. Humorous. So insightful. Deeply real. And, when I was first dipping my toes in blogging and assorted social media, it was Gwen’s blog that I continually turned to for inspiration and guidance (and still do). And, as many have already attested, Gwen has an exceptional capacity to inspire. That’s why I’m writing not only this post, but all these “Best of 2009″ posts. When it gets down to it, the very name Big Love in a Small World says it all. Big*freakin*love.
And then there is Cleavage. Kelly Diels (who I found through Gwen’s tweets) is a ferociously honest writer. And eloquent. Witty. Fun. Double fun. Sexy. Compelling. And honest (worth saying twice). I’m rather taken with her. Anyone who has the courage to be this revealing, this vulnerable, this authentic with her voice and her life, absolutely earns my respect. She is the first person I “made friends with” (yay! 3rd grade!) via Twitter. We even got on the phone and had a delicious conversation about Art, Money, and Courage. I love witnessing her journey into the deeps, which she dares to do, in practically every post.
Big gratitude to the both Gwen and Kelly.

jeanne: Honored to have made your smaller list, truly. Look forward to checking out each of the other bloggers.
Two utterly brilliant choices, so eloquently chosen.
This challenge adventure that Gwen cooked up just keeps getting better and more profound every single day. I may not have discovered you here, and I am so very, very glad I did.
Do you draw those thumbnails yourself? This is awesome!
Bryce, I’m humbled and honored by your friendship. And so grateful to have you in my orbit on a regular basis. Here’s to a very full 2010!
emma: Gladness all around. Priekā!
san: Yes. Takes me back to junior high and high school, when I’d illustrate in my class notes, to supplement the words. Your ‘awesome’ brings me joy!
Gwen: Fuller than full! Overflowing, boundless…(Have you tried lapsong souchong? If not, you’ll have to give it a taste at our next tea med.)
Your blog keeps getting better and better! Your older articles are not as good as newer ones you have a lot more creativity and originality now keep it up!
Reseller Hosting: Thanks – glad you are enjoying my writing. The amount of time available for blogging certainly waxes and wanes – hopefully more time for writing, soon!
