This beautiful print by Bryce inspired a poem I wrote and he encouraged me to share it here. (original formatting is centered, but I can't do that in a comment)

"My Divine Murder"

Now I remember.

Buried in a murder of crows,
wings fluttering in directionless patterns,
feet resting in their warm breath…

…silence…

…a single heart beat…

and they screamed in unison,
breaking free
pulling
scattering
me
throughout infinite space
so I could take root
in your heart.

And Now
I
Remember.
